Liberty Mutual Agency Markets is putting its new agents in an online classroom.
The Web-based Agent Learning Centers are set up as all-in-one training centers for producers and staff hired at Liberty Mutual Agency Markets’ commercial lines regional companies.
Each company has its own Agent Learning Center.
Through the centers, agents can register for classroom workshops and participate in virtual or self-paced online programs. They also can take professional development courses, many of which qualify for continuing education credits.
A key component of the Agent Learning Centers is the Commercial Lines New Producer Program. The 30-week development curriculum combines online instruction, Webinars, and in-agency mentoring with classroom training. Graduates receive the Insurance Institute of America’s Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation.
The Agent Learning Centers also offer resources for agency owners, such as the Agency Manager Toolkit, which they can turn to for help in hiring and developing successful producers.
“We listened to what our agency partners’ wanted and created easily-accessible, region-specific training plans and classes,” said Michael Emery, manager of Learning Services with Liberty Mutual Agency Markets. “We’ve significantly broadened our learning options, expanded our AICPCU offerings, and given our agencies the greater flexibility and affordability they need.”
Agent Learning Centers were created for America First Insurance™, Colorado Casualty™, Golden Eagle Insurance™, Indiana Insurance™, Liberty Northwest®, Montgomery Insurance™, Ohio Casualty™, and Peerless Insurance™.
