The excess and surplus (E&S) insurance line of CNA has a new name and a new leader.
John Angerami is the new senior vice president of CNA Select Risk, which will continue to provide coverage packages for a wide variety of businesses, from taxi cab companies to recycling centers.
In addition to its E&S business, CNA Select Risk will include Wholesale Property accounts.
"Across the nation, CNA is known for our reliable, experienced E&S and Property professionals who confidently identify and write all types of risk," Angerami said. "Now we will focus on growing our four areas-Casualty, Programs, Transportation, and Property-as well as expanding our underwriting appetite and identifying new industry specializations to better meet the E&S needs of our customers."
Angerami is joining CNA Select Risk after working for 31 years at the Chubb Corporation, where he most recently was president of its E&S business.
