Hyland Software’s document and content management solution, OnBase, has been cited in a recent Celent report as having the highest percentage of deals across both the life/health and property/casualty industry.
Celent's 2009 Insurance Software Deal Trends report states that document and content management represented 53 percent of all deals made between 2007 and 2008.
Hyland held the largest percentage of deals in the life and health category with 42 percent and the property and casualty category with 33 percent.
"Insurers are sorting out their technology priorities - what's going to bring results and what's not," said chief operating officer for Hyland Software, Bill Priemer. "They're looking to a proven technology in document and content management to get the job done, but they have to find the right vendor. A vendor's stability, profitability and customer support are all part of that buying decision. With award-winning customer support and more than a decade of continuously profitable quarters, Hyland Software and its OnBase software suite fit the bill. And Celent's survey data proves that insurers think so, too."
Hyland has also been included in Celent’s 2009 Traction Index, part of the Deal Trends report, that ranks all vendors in insurance. “All else being equal, we believe that most carriers will benefit from leveraging the experience of Traction Index companies,” said Craig Weber, senior vice president of the Celent insurance practice."
